Jopen LALALAGER
Jopen Lalalager is a Märzen-style lager from Jopen, a Dutch brewery based in the converted Jopenkerk church in Haarlem. The brewery emerged from a civic initiative to restore Haarlem's historic brewing heritage, beginning with the recreation of period recipes from the city's rich beer-making past.
This autumn lager presents a bright, golden appearance with a balanced character. The malt provides a soft, approachable foundation, while the hop bitterness remains restrained and well-integrated. At 5.5% ABV, it offers an accessible entry point into the Märzen style without sacrificing depth.
Jopen has built its reputation on fidelity to brewing tradition and ingredient quality, drawing on Haarlem's six-century legacy of beer production.
