Oude Geuze De Cam is a traditional Gueuze from Geuzestekerij De Cam in Gooik, a blending house rooted in Pajottenland's lambic heritage. This is a blend of lambic beers of different ages, spontaneously fermented and aged for at least one year in bottle. The result is a complex, lively Gueuze with a fine balance between acidity and fruity character. Yeast and time create a beer full of character and subtle nuance. The nose offers citrus and floral notes with hints of hay and earth. On the palate, sharp acidity and Brett character dominate, with citrus fruit and honey upfront. The finish is dry and elegant, with a thin but refined aftertaste that honours the tradition of authentic Gueuze.
