Floem BEAR:ISH is an ambitious triple IPA from Appingedam, crafted by the Groningen-based collective Floem. At 10% ABV, this beer delivers a full, juicy character with assertive hop presence. For the first time, Floem added a fruity twist: mango and apricots bring a distinctive dimension alongside classic IPA flavours. Brewed with generous amounts of oats and wheat, the beer achieves its full mouthfeel and characteristic haze. The nose reveals citrus and grapefruit, complemented by tropical notes from the fruit infusion. On the palate, hop bitterness meets sweet, fruity tones of mango and apricots, while the grain bill provides a subtle bready backbone. This is a beer for those who embrace bold flavour and assertive hop character.
