Flensburger Dunkel is a Munich Dunkel from the northern German brewery Flensburger, founded in 1888 by local citizens around a natural glacier spring. This dark lager is brewed with darker malts that deliver a pronounced roasted malt character and complex body. The palate opens with toasted bread and caramel, transitioning to nutty flavours with subtle fruit notes. A definite bitter note emerges toward the finish and persists into the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium and slick, with a clean finish that leaves the palate refreshed and dry.
