Egidius Tripel is the flagship beer of Egidius Bieren, a Belgian brewery from Lebbele founded in 2016 by a hobby brewing club in Denderbelle. This 8.5% tripel is soft and warm, with good mouthfeel and a hoppy finish. The beer displays a hazy amber colour with white creamy foam. On the nose, peach, citrus and light coriander emerge. The palate is sweet and fruity, followed by a bitter finish that brings good balance to the whole. Brewed in small batches of 200 litres using spring water, barley malt, hop cones, candy sugar and yeast, this tripel reflects the brewery's commitment to traditional Belgian brewing.
