Rien Ne Va Plus from Brouwerij De Dochter van de Korenaar is a fortified barleywine at 19% ABV, built on a dark beer base. It matures for several years in wooden barrels, where the wood's character becomes integral to the final expression. Grain alcohol is added early in fermentation to reach its strength.
