Bock Moscadello
De Dochter van de Korenaar brings this Maibock through an unconventional maturation: approximately 12 months in Moscadello di Montalcino barrels, followed by bottle conditioning. Moscadello is a sweet wine crafted from Muscat grapes, lending this beer a distinctive character rarely found in spring bocks.
The beer presents a dark blonde hue with a fresh, malty foundation. On the nose, grape, wood and tannin notes emerge—a direct signature of barrel aging. The palate balances sweetness and spice with subtle malt complexity and oak influence. The finish is dry with measured bitterness.
A beer for those willing to venture beyond convention.
