As heir to six generations of brewing tradition since 1784, Van Steenberge brews according to classical methods enhanced by modern resources. The brewery specialises in high-fermentation beers with bottle refermentation, which gives this Drentsch Oerbier its characteristic liveliness. The name references the Steencirkel, a mysterious monument in Drenthe. This beer bridges Belgian brewing heritage with Dutch cultural identity.
