Gulden Draak Brewmaster honours six generations of master brewers at Brouwerij Van Steenberge. This strong Belgian ale is crafted using traditional methods with noble hops and proprietary yeast strains, then matured in wooden barrels to develop its character. The beer opens with sweet caramel, toffee and candi sugar, followed by dried fruit notes of raisin and plum. Cedar and white pepper add complexity, while a soft, creamy mouthfeel and warming alcohol finish provide structure and depth. At 10.5% ABV, this is a rich and contemplative quadrupel that rewards the patience of the drinker and reflects the brewery's heritage.
