Brouwerij Roman, brewing in Oudenaarde since 1545, honours Flemish painter Adriaen Brouwer with this certified organic tripel. The beer is full-bodied and robust, with spicy notes of coriander and bitter orange peel that emerge subtly on the palate. Belgian hops and organically grown ingredients provide the foundation for a beer that balances sweet malt character with fine hop bitterness. The finish is refined, with a lingering hop bitterness that rounds out the whole. This marks the brewery's first organic tripel, a modern step rooted in centuries of brewing tradition.
