Brouwerij Noordt in Rotterdam reimagines classic Belgian beer styles through its LagerLab series, fermented with lager yeast. The Tripel Lager No. 3 is a golden blonde that retains the visual character of a traditional tripel but with a tighter, more restrained aroma profile. Rather than the full, fruity expression of a classic tripel, lager fermentation creates a more refined and direct character. The golden colour and bright clarity promise complexity, yet the lager fermentation gives this strong blonde (8.1% ABV) an elegant presentation. The beer combines the strength and structure of a tripel with the sharpness and purity of a lager, resulting in a beer that is both crisp and full-bodied.
