Maallust Vreemdeling 002 is a 7% ABV amber ale brewed by Brouwerij Maallust in Veenhuizen, Drenthe. Founded in 2011 by a collective of 25 entrepreneurs known as the 'Zware Jongens' (Heavy Guys), the brewery operates from a historic grain mill on grounds steeped in local heritage.

The Vreemdeling series is recognised for distinctive character and individuality. This green hopped variant brings warming spice and herbal complexity to the amber ale style, grounded in fresh hop character. Brewed unfiltered and unpasteurised by Gert and Carina Kelder, it reflects the brewery's commitment to authentic, ingredient-driven brewing.

The name 'Maallust' honours the historic milling district surrounding the old grain mill in this former prison colony—a place where craft and history converge in every pour.
