Spherical Cow Problem is a New England IPA from Azvex Brewing Company in Liverpool. This hazy 7.4% IPA is dry-hopped with Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe, delivering a fruity and tropical character. The nose opens with passionfruit, grapefruit and citrus, layered with floral and grassy undertones. On the palate, soft and slightly sweet notes give way to intense tropical fruit, gooseberry and citrus flavours. The finish shows pleasant pine and stone fruit with a balanced bitterness that lingers cleanly. Despite its alcohol strength, this beer hides the ABV remarkably well. The body is soft and approachable, with crisp carbonation that amplifies the fruity complexity throughout.
