Brouwerij Kleiburg's Quadrupel Poorter merges two traditions: the English Porter and the heavy Belgian Quadrupel. Brewed by a social enterprise rooted in the Klei Monastery in Amsterdam's Bijlmer neighbourhood, this beer reflects an innovative take on monastic brewing. Dark malts, black cardamom and liquorice root create a complex, layered character in this 10.7% ABV beer. Malty and sweet with a viscous body, it rewards slow sipping and contemplation.
