Brouwerij In de Nacht from Weert crafted this ambitious Barleywine with pronounced whisky character. Belhamel spent five months maturing in used Ben Nevis whisky barrels before finishing on original English oak, lending it a rich, warming presence.

The nose reveals heavy malt aromatics with subtle peaty notes and wood tones. On the palate, sweet malt foundations meet peated whisky character, vanilla and oak. The alcohol warmth feels smooth and integrated, finishing with a pleasant sweet aftertaste.
