Mamos is one of Greece's most historic beers, first brewed in Patras in 1876 and revived in 2017 by Athenian Brewery in partnership with Panaghis Mamos, a beer historian and grandson of the original brewer. This German-style Pilsner lager is crafted with three hop varieties that deliver a distinctive hop character and rich foam. The malt backbone provides light sweetness and bready notes with a dry finish. The beer appears bright golden with a full white head and notably high carbonation. At 5% ABV, Mamos offers an accessible, refreshing profile suited to everyday enjoyment and special occasions alike.
