Deca Alt is Brouwerij Deca's inaugural brown ale, brewed by a family with roots stretching back to the late 18th century. This 8% ABV Old Ale delivers complexity: spiced gingerbread and gingercake aromas meld with caramel and dark fruit, while citrus and yeast notes add depth to the nose. On the palate, sweet malt and spice remain in equilibrium, supported by a pleasant, measured bitterness. The beer finishes dry with a lingering aftertaste that rewards patience. Full-bodied yet creamy, it balances warmth and drinkability without excess alcohol burn—a measured, flavourful expression of traditional Belgian brewing craft.
