Brouwerij De Molen's Mooi & Meedogenloos is an ambitious hybrid of Belgian quadrupel and imperial stout. This powerful 10.2% ABV brew marries the sweet, spicy character of a Belgian tripel with the full, roasted depth of a stout. Aromas and flavours of caramel, plum, chocolate and brown sugar are unmistakable, while roasted malts deliver a dark, full body.

Despite its strength, the beer drinks with surprising ease. Hop bitterness on the finish helps balance the sweetness, and low carbonation supports the full, medium-bodied structure. This is a beer that lives up to its name: beautiful in flavour, but merciless in its alcohol warmth.
