Willy Tonka is an Imperial Stout from Brouwerij De Moersleutel in Alkmaar, crafted by four brothers who call themselves 'Beer Engineers'. This thick, dark beer is built around tonka beans – an exotic ingredient that brings warm, cinnamon-like character to the glass. The nose reveals chocolate and roasted malt with coffee undertones. On the palate, cocoa and tonka dominate, supported by a full body and significant alcohol warmth. The finish lingers intensely, with chocolate and that distinctive tonka flavour that sets this beer apart. Moersleutel has been brewing since 2016 and exports to 26 countries. Willy Tonka appears in several variants – some with additional ingredients like vanilla, cardamom or nutmeg.
