Double Bie is an approachable Dubbel from Brouwerij De Bie in Watou, brewed with only natural ingredients. This brown ale displays a regal reddish-brown colour and firm head, yet drinks lighter than its style might suggest. Aromas of caramel, chocolate and toffee invite the first taste. The palate is malty and medium-sweet with dark fruit notes and a whisper of spice. Despite its rich flavours, the finish remains clean and dry, without heaviness. Brouwerij De Bie has brewed since 1992 in the hop gardens of Watou near the French border. At 6% alcohol, Double Bie delivers substance and flavour without demanding effort.
