ALD IPA emerged from a playful Twitter exchange between BrewDog and Aldi UK, resulting in this tongue-in-cheek session IPA at 4.7% ABV. Based on BrewDog's Hop Fiction recipe, it pairs extra pale malt with Citra, Chinook and Mosaic hops, delivering notes of freshly cut grass and citrus.

The flavour profile is straightforward and hoppy, with citrus notes and assertive bitterness that carries through to a dry finish. As a session beer, it's an uncomplicated, easy-drinking option—though the hop bite may surprise those accustomed to gentler ales. It works well as a casual everyday drink.
