Golden Kenia is the classic Pilsner from Brouwerij Huyghe in Melle, named after a French barley variety. Introduced shortly after World War II, this beer became the brewery's flagship for decades. Brewed with barley malt, coriander and Hallertau Brewer Gold hops, with bottle re-fermentation. The beer presents a delicate, lightly malty aroma with fruity and zesty notes. The palate is tender and full-bodied, finishing with a strong, lingering dry bitterness. This balanced Pilsner pairs well with a wide range of dishes and offers straightforward, approachable drinking.
