Kriek Fantastiek from Brouwerij De Ryck is a fruit beer built on cherry character. The brewery, a family operation rooted in Herzele since 1886, brews to both traditional and contemporary recipes with respect for craft technique. The aroma opens with ripe cherry notes alongside dark wood and caramel undertones. On the palate, syrupy sweetness takes centre stage, balanced by the malt foundation. The beer displays a lightly turbid dark red hue with fine carbonation. Though no longer in production, Kriek Fantastiek reflects De Ryck's commitment to distinctive speciality beers, each with its own identity and brewing story.
