À propos

Westvleteren Blond is a Belgian blonde ale brewed by Trappist monks at Saint Sixtus Abbey in Vleteren, Belgium, where brewing has continued since 1838. This bright, pale golden beer presents a refined balance of malt sweetness and firm bitterness. The nose is fresh and fruity, with citrus and lime zest from noble hops. On the palate, clean malt flavours meet a crisp bitterness, rounded by subtle spice and fruit esters from the house Trappist yeast. The finish is dry and clean, with a lingering hoppy bitterness that feels neither aggressive nor thin. Bottle-fermented with the abbey's own yeast, Westvleteren Blond is a highly drinkable Trappist ale that balances approachability with genuine complexity.
