Kiuchi Brewery, a traditional sake producer since 1823, transitioned to beer brewing in 1996. Hitachino Nest Beer was born in Konosu, Ibaraki Prefecture—the brewery's "nest" for beer lovers. The range spans multiple styles: witbiers, lagers, pale ales and more, each crafted with attention to malt and hop balance. These beers are recognised for refined aromatics and flavour complexity. Witbiers showcase floral and spiced character with orange and nutmeg notes, while lagers deliver pleasant maltiness with subtle hop bitterness. This is craftsmanship rooted in over two centuries of brewing heritage.
