Hora Est is a Brut IPA from Stadsbrouwerij Wageningen, a young nano-brewery in Wageningen brewing characterful beers with local grains since 2013. This dry, blonde IPA at 9.1% ABV stands apart through the use of champagne yeast or enzymes, delivering extra dryness and refinement. The beer presents a golden-blonde colour with a generous head. The aroma is distinctly hoppy with white grape fruit notes and floral hints. On the palate, it is dry and crisp with moderate bitterness, balanced by subtle caramel undertones and an interplay of hop and malt character.
