Pinkus Pils is a German pilsner brewed by Brauerei Pinkus Müller in Münster, a brewery family-owned since 1816. In the 1980s, Pinkus became the first all-organic brewery of the modern era and has brewed exclusively with organic ingredients ever since. This pilsner is made from organic barley malt and organic hops, including the classic Tettnanger variety. The nose presents a pleasant blend of sweet, bready malt with cereal notes and crisp citrus and floral hop character. The palate follows suit: a balance between malty sweetness and hop bitterness, with grassy undertones and subtle herbal notes. The result is clean and proper, with a light body typical of German pilsners.
