Paragon 2022 is Lervig Aktiebryggeri's annual bourbon barrel-aged barley wine, brewed in Stavanger, Norway. At 14.4% ABV, this robust ale matures in American whiskey casks, developing rich layers of dried fruit, vanilla and oak.

Pour reveals a nearly black liquid with deep mahogany edges. The nose carries toffee, caramel and bourbon warmth. On the palate, caramelized malt, brown sugar, coconut and dark fruit—raisin and fig—build a full, smooth body with considerable depth.
