Brouwerij Kees presents an ambitious barrel-aged expression: a Barley Wine matured for fourteen months in Craigellachie whisky casks. The result is a full-bodied, sweet beer with considerable depth. The casks have left their mark: notes of oak wood, vanilla and liquorice form the foundation, while dried fruit, raisins and subtle smoke signals emerge beneath. A hint of mandarin adds fresh nuance to this layered, complex character.
