Nicolas crafted this blonde ale in 2014 to honor his father, a master brewer carrying forward a family legacy rooted in Belgian brewing tradition. The beer matured for one year in oak barrels with whiskey added during the aging process, creating a layered and refined character. The nose reveals bready malt and caramel warmth with restrained hop spice. The palate shows full malt depth balanced by subtle fruit and just enough hop bitterness to prevent cloying sweetness. The finish lingers dry and warming, with the 8% ABV well-integrated throughout, making this a remarkably smooth and sophisticated brew.
