Postel Tripel is brewed by Affligem Brouwerij in Opwijk, Belgium. This classic Belgian tripel at 9% ABV carries the heritage of Postel Abbey, with production handled by Affligem since 1988 after the original Dessel brewery closed. The beer pours a clear golden straw colour beneath a substantial white head. The aroma displays characteristic Belgian yeast notes—banana, bubblegum and apricot—layered with bready malt and gentle spice. On the palate, fruity sweetness meets peppery yeast character and dry herbal notes, finishing with a slightly grassy bitterness that lingers pleasantly. A well-crafted tripel that balances approachability with enough complexity to reward attention.
