Space Operator is a New England-style IPA from Whiplash Brewery in Dublin. Born from the friendship between co-founders Alex Lawes and Alan Wolfe in 2016, this beer draws on their shared experience at Rye River Brewing. The grist of Maris, wheat and oat, with a touch of Carapils, is fermented on London Ale III to build a light yet full body. Double dry-hopping exclusively with Idaho 7 delivers a vibrant aromatic profile: tropical fruit, mango, guava and citrus leap from the glass. On the palate, juicy citrus flavours take centre stage, while the finish remains remarkably smooth with low bitterness and a clean, airy aftertaste. At 6.8% ABV, Space Operator balances characterful hop expression with genuine drinkability.
