Thistly Cross Beer Cask is a Scottish cider from Dunbar, matured in beer casks from Glen Moray Distillery. Made from freshly pressed Scottish apple juice, it spends a minimum of six months in oak, absorbing the wood's distinctive character and malt-derived notes. The result is a medium-dry cider with mellow vanilla and oak influence. Tasting notes reveal layers of banana, caramel and smoke, yet the cider remains refined and balanced. The tannins from the cask add weight and complexity without overpowering the natural fruit. A thoughtful, slow-sipping cider that rewards contemplation.
