Zwolse Bok by Stadsbrouwerij Hettinga Bier is a traditional bock from Zwolle. Founded in 2008 by Focke Hettinga and Joyce Orsel, the brewery sources its ingredients from the local region—barley grown on Overijssel soil and hops partly cultivated on-site. This strong local sourcing defines the Zwolse Bok's character. At 6.8% ABV, this bock delivers a fuller profile with a sweet finish. The brewery combines traditional recipes with modern brewing practices in its Dieze-west facility, where each batch takes approximately seven hours to complete.
