The Original Pinkus Münstersch Alt is a deliberate blend of fresh pale amber altbier with medium bitterness and a portion of aged beer—a notably traditional approach that sets Münster's interpretation apart from the better-known Düsseldorf altbier. The beer is bright and pale yellow with creamy white foam. The nose is restrained and cleanly malty. On the palate, fresh malt character emerges with delicate hop notes, while the aged component adds subtle depth.
