Gooische Barleywine BA Amarone Red Wine is an ambitious barrel-aged barleywine from Gooische Bierbrouwerij, located in 't Gooi, the Netherlands. At 11.5% ABV, this full-bodied beer matures in Amarone red wine casks, developing rich layers of dark fruit, caramel and oak influence.

Founded in 2010, the brewery commits to organic ingredients and produces unpasteurised, unfiltered beers. This barleywine showcases the complexity that emerges from slow fermentation and extended aging—notes of raisins, caramel and dark fruit balanced by a warming alcohol presence. The Amarone cask finish contributes wine-like depth and oak character to the final expression.
