De Toekomst Barrel Aged Barley Wine Bourbon is a robust barleywine from Brouwerij De Toekomst in Fijnaart, matured in bourbon casks. This complex beer undergoes a minimum of 12 months aging and is blended for flavour balance, with bourbon as its foundation. The result is a full-bodied, warming spirit with deep character.

In the glass it appears amber and hazy with a modest foam head. The nose reveals malty tones, wood and bourbon, complemented by dried fruit notes. On the palate, bourbon, malt and raisins merge with fruity character and caramel undertones, supported by the oak from the casks. The finish is warm and lingering.
