La Débauche

La Débauche is a French craft brewery founded in July 2013 by friends and amateur brewers Eglantine Clément and Aurélien Camandone. Based in Angoulême, in the Charente region of southwestern France, the brewery quickly established itself as one of the most exciting and experimental voices in the French craft beer scene, drawing attention both domestically and internationally. The brewery is known for its adventurous and wide-ranging portfolio, spanning a broad spectrum of beer styles. La Débauche produces everything from kettle sours and milk stouts to IPAs, saisons, barleywines, and barrel-aged beers. Experimentation is central to their identity: the brewery pushes boundaries with adjuncts, fermentation techniques, and unconventional ingredients. Notable releases include the Super Vanilla Brew, a milk stout brewed with vanilla, and the Scarlet, a red fruit kettle sour, as well as a Cognac Barrel-aged American Barleywine that showcases their affinity for barrel maturation. La Débauche has earned a strong reputation among craft beer enthusiasts across Europe and beyond, with their beers regularly appearing in specialist bottle shops and import catalogues in countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, and Australia. With a commitment to quality and creativity, the brewery from Angoulême is widely regarded as one of France's leading craft brewing operations.
