La Débauche French IPA is a deliberate commitment to authenticity. Brewed in Angoulême, this IPA draws exclusively from French ingredients: French malts, French hops and French water. The result is a classical IPA that reaches back to the style's origins, before American West Coast interpretations took hold. Poured, it shows a light orange hue with a clean white head. The nose reveals grassy and floral hop character with herbal notes. On the palate, early grain sweetness gives way quickly to earthy, floral hop flavours and a strong, lingering bitterness. The finish is dry and assertive. At 5.7% ABV, this is a sessionable yet flavourful IPA that rewards pairing with heartier fare.
