Brasserie Inter-Pol is a Belgian craft brewery located in Mont, a sub-municipality of Houffalize in the province of Luxembourg, in the heart of the Ardennes. The brewery was founded by Pol Ghekiere, who first developed his passion for brewing while working as a guide at the renowned La Chouffe brewery. Bitten by the beer bug, he set up his own small brewery, which is housed in a former blacksmith's forge dating back to 1710. The historic setting gives the brewery a distinctive character deeply rooted in the rural landscape of the Belgian Ardennes. Brasserie Inter-Pol originally served primarily to supply the adjoining bistro with beer, but gradually developed into a recognised craft brewery with its own range of beers. The brewery is known for producing small-batch Belgian beers that reflect the artisanal traditions of the Ardennes region. Its beers have been made available through retailers such as Delhaize, demonstrating a broader reach beyond the local area. The brewery is situated along cycling routes through the Ardennes, making it a destination for cycling enthusiasts and beer lovers alike. Pol Ghekiere and his team have built a reputation as a welcoming, community-rooted brewery in the province of Luxembourg, offering visitors a genuine taste of Belgian craft brewing culture in a historically rich environment.
