Dame Jeanne is a Belgian brewery based in Brasschaat, in the province of Antwerp. The brewery takes its name from the dame-jeanne, a large glass fermentation vessel traditionally used for making wine or beer, and also a nod to the neighbourhood where the brewery is located. This double meaning reflects the brewery's deep connection to both its craft and its local roots. Dame Jeanne has carved out a distinctive niche in the Belgian beer landscape by specialising in champagne-style beers brewed according to the méthode traditionnelle — the same labour-intensive process used in Champagne production. This method involves remuage and dégorgement, resulting in naturally sparkling, refined beers with exceptional clarity. The flagship offering, Dame Jeanne Brut Sur Lie, is a dry, crisp beer with 8.5% ABV. The brewery offers five variations, each enriched with a hint of flavour infusion, making for an elegant and unique tasting experience that stands apart from conventional Belgian brewing.
