The brewery's name is rooted in Latin, with 'Cor' forming part of a creative derivation from classical language. The brewery was active from 2015 until 2023, when it ceased operations — a closure partly attributed to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which proved to be the beginning of the end for the small-scale operation.
