Störtebeker Schwarz-Bier is a classic German schwarzbier from Stralsund, brewed in a tradition dating back to 1827. This lager ferments cool and matures for an extended period, developing a dark and refined character. Dark malt and bitter chocolate aromas form the core, complemented by subtle notes of coffee and caramel. In the glass it appears pitch black with a beige head. The flavour balances malty sweetness with dry bitterness, finishing short and dry. This schwarzbier demonstrates that dark lagers can be elegant and nuanced.
