150 Watt BA Laphroaig is a Barley Wine from 100 Watt (formerly Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven) in Eindhoven, matured in Islay whisky casks. This is the second release aged on Laphroaig barrels, an ambitious project that fully captures the smoky, peaty character of the Scottish whisky within the beer. The nose reveals a distinctive palette of ash, smoke and whisky with dark fruit in the background. The palate is broad and expansive, with roasted malt, clear peat and a soft sweet finish where overripe dark fruit emerges. The influence of the Laphroaig casks is substantial and dominates the entire profile.
