Schelde Ginnegapper is the sixth special from Scheldebrouwerij in Meer, a Belgian brewery founded in 1994 by Peter van den Eijnden. This blonde ale merges a confident brewing character with gin influences, creating a distinctive fusion of beer and spirit. The aroma presents orange blossom and citrus notes with fruity and floral undertones. On the palate, sweetness and fruit emerge alongside distinct citrus flavours, balanced by a crisp bitterness and hoppy backbone with spicy, herbal notes. The mouthfeel is full and robust, fitting for a strong blonde at 8.7% ABV. Ginnegapper is an intense and adventurous beer that pairs well with rich fish, spiced dishes and meat-based cuisine.
