Rogue Mocha Porter is an American porter from Newport, Oregon, that won gold at the 1995 World Beer Championships. This robust brew combines two-row and Munich malts with American hops—Chinook, Perle and Centennial—to create a naturally mocha-like character without added coffee or chocolate. The beer pours a ruddy brown with a bittersweet balance of malt and hop. The aroma leads with roasted malt, coffee bean and dark chocolate notes.
