About
Lagunitas Sucks was born from a happy accident: when the Petaluma brewery faced capacity constraints brewing their beloved Brown Shugga', they quickly improvised a different recipe instead. The self-deprecating name belies a solid West Coast IPA. Brewed with a cereal blend of barley, rye, wheat and oats, this ale gains complexity from its four-grain base. Dry-hopped for prominent aroma, Sucks balances malt sweetness against assertive hop bitterness. At 8% ABV it drinks lighter than expected, finishing dry with a lingering bitter edge.
