About
Corsendonk Bruin is a Belgian abbey beer rooted in a brewing tradition dating back to 1398, when the Priory of Corsendonk in Oud-Turnhout was in operation. This well-balanced brown ale presents a mild character, with caramelized malt on the nose followed by hints of ripe fruit. On the palate, it remains soft with a fine balance between bitterness and fruity notes. Toasted bread and a touch of liquorice add texture to the flavour. The finish is refreshing and lightly fruity, with subtle caramel notes that round out the beer.
