About
Cervecería Nacional Pilsener has been an Ecuadorian brewing institution since 1913. This Czech-style pilsner is brewed in Guayaquil using water, malted barley, rice and hops. The beer displays a brilliant golden hue with a white head that settles quickly. Subtle caramel and corn notes emerge on the nose, accompanied by light roasty undertones. The palate is malt-forward with caramel sweetness and fruity character, balanced by the rice adjunct that keeps the beer crisp and refreshing. Ecuador's most popular beer, it's built for warm climates and easy drinking.
