Ename Pater is a blonde abbey ale from Brouwerij Roman in Oudenaarde, Belgium, drawing inspiration from monastic brewing traditions rooted in the Benedictine abbey founded at Ename in 1063. This unfiltered, bottle-refermented beer delivers surprising lightness and flavour in equal measure. Citrus, herbs and bright hops lead the nose. On the palate, light malt sweetness mingles with earthy and floral hop character, complemented by Belgian yeast esters.
